Our Wedding

Susan and Will’s story began after Susan returned from an adventurous, formative, and sometimes even daring, multi-year adventure around the globe, wherein she had numerous enlightening experiences and formed a long list of memorable stories. Will had done no such things, but had graduated from college and that was a cool experience for him too, we suppose. They met at a place called Doctible, where basically what happens is a couple dozen 18-30 years-olds are put into a large, open room where they play loud music, get jiggy with it, and sell software over the phone to dental offices from 7:00am “blast-off” until who knows when. So, a really good place for Susan and Will to meet. Some may call this a trauma bond. They both thought each other were cute &amp; fun. Susan invited Will to a few outside-of-work events. Unfortunately, Will can be oblivious to these types of gestures and didn’t believe or realize this was an opportunity to step into Susan’s little ray of sunshine so, they were just coworkers for some time. Finally, probably similarly disgusted by Will’s lack of observance, their manager Chris sent them to a tradeshow together in Chicago. It was only with Susan politely sitting on Will’s lap at the M-Lounge after the tradeshow one night, and her referring to Will as her "work-husband", that it finally clicked for Will. We’re all very happy Susan stuck with it, because although she always gave Will warm fuzzies, guys can be kinda dumb sometimes. With that out of the way, their relationship really blossomed. About 6 weeks after Will notified Susan that, "why yes of course they were boyfriend and girlfriend!" it was Susan's birthday. It was there, at Nolita Hall that Will happened to glance at Susan from across the room, seeing she was chatting with a friend and read her lips saying “I think I love him”. Will really hoped she was referring to him. Turns out she was, and the rest was history. They moved in together, traveled places, did awesome things, and generally further intertwined the fabrics of their very beings. We are all very shocked Will could get that sappy in his writing. A constant for Susan and Will the past 7 years has been the overwhelming love &amp; warmth they feel from their friends and families. Without it, they’d be almost as lost as if they didn’t have one another. And it is with that, that we very much hope you all come celebrate with us.

Vesica is a high-end jungle cenote club and wellness sanctuary known for its freshwater swimming sinkholes and relaxed day-club atmosphere with an onsite restaurant and bar. For anyone who would like to join us, we will be providing shuttle transportation from Hotel Panamera to Vesica. More details to come!

Welcome Party: 6pm - 9pm

Join us on the rooftop of Hotel Panamera for sunset cocktails, tacos, and a warm Tulum welcome. Our love story began on a rooftop, so we couldn’t imagine starting this celebration anywhere else. Dress Code: Elevated Resort Wear meets Earth Tones Think flowy fabrics, matching sets, linen, and maxi dresses in an earthy color palette. Shades of olive, sage, terracotta, sand, camel, chocolate, taupe, rust, soft creams and shades of blue are all encouraged. Wedding: Ceremony to begin at 4:30pm

Get ready to be whisked into the jungle to a secret location! Transportation will depart from Hotel Panamera, with the first bus picking up guests at 3:45pm. Cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing until 12am. Dress Code: Colorful Cocktail! 🌈The groom has claimed black and the bride has claimed white, so the rest of you get to go wild with color. We'd love for you to go full maximalist with bold colors, fun prints, unexpected textures, metallic fabrics, and statement accessories. Think less 'country club cocktail' and more 'avant-garde jungle party.' The only rule? No black, no white, and no boring.P.S. Getting to Tulum

From Cancun airport, it takes about 1.5-2 hours to get to Tulum. From Tulum airport, it takes about 45 minutes. If you'd like to explore the area, car rental may be a good option as taxis from the hotel zone can be pricey if you are not comfortable negotiating.
